These protein filled overnight oats are perfect for Oreo lovers! They are a great make-ahead healthy snack or dessert to stock your fridge with.

Overnight oats are a staple of my diet. While they’re great for breakfast, I also love them as a pre-workout snack or a delicious dessert that fuels my body instead of weighing it down.

Recently, I started making this Oreo version and it has de-throned strawberry cheesecake overnight oats as my favorite flavor. I find that it’s the perfect sweet treat to satisfy my afternoon cravings while providing me with a quick boost of carbs to get me through my workout.

The greek yogurt cheesecake layer is what really makes these oats great, in my opinion. The sugar-free instant pudding mix really does give it that creamy, sweet cheesecake flavor!

Ingredients

All the ingredients needed to make Oreo overnight oats.

  • Oats – Use old-fashioned rolled oats. Instant oats turn to complete mush when they soak overnight.
  • Almond Milk – You can really use any liquid you prefer, even water.
  • Protein Powder – I used chocolate Isopure. A cookies and cream flavor would be good too.
  • Greek Yogurt – Use your favorite greek yogurt.
  • Instant Pudding Mix – Sugar-free cheesecake jello instant pudding mix gives the yogurt layer a light & fluffy texture as well as a sweet flavor.
  • Oreos – Crushed and used as a topping.

How To Make

A photo collage showing the six steps to making Oreo overnight oats.

  1. Mix the oats, protein powder, and liquid together.
  2. Distribute evenly among 4 meal prep containers.
  3. Mix the greek yogurt and jello mix together.
  4. Spread on top of the oats.
  5. Crush the cookies with a rolling pin or in a food processor.
  6. Sprinkle on top of the oats. Seal and place in the fridge overnight.

Tips

  • For thicker oatmeal, reduce the amount of liquid and/or add a few tablespoons of chia seeds.
  • You can make this recipe in jars instead of rectangle meal prep containers.
