Looking for the ultimate easy, no-reheat breakfast meal prep? This Peanut Butter & Jelly Overnight Oats recipe is it!
We make a lot of overnight oats, but this is our favorite. It’s like a guiltless version of your favorite childhood sandwich.
I make mine using a traditional overnight oats recipe, then add in a layer of melted peanut butter and another of jelly.
I usually grab store-bought jelly for simplicity, but it’s also very good with homemade jelly. Earlier this summer we made it with some homemade wild blackberry jelly and it was amazing!
If you’d like, you can save a little of the jelly and peanut putter to garnish the top with. I sometimes add peanuts for an extra little crunch.
You can eat these PB&J overnight oats for more than just breakfast, they also make a great snack or dessert!

- Prep Time: 8 hours
- Total Time: 8 hours
- Yield: 5
- Category: Breakfast
- Cuisine: American
Ingredients
2.5 Cups Old-Fashioned Oats
2.5 Cups Milk (Cow/Almond/Soy…whatever you want)
1.5 Tbsp Chia Seeds (optional)
3/4 Cup Peanut Butter
3/4 Cup Jelly
3 Tbsp Peanuts, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Add the oats, milk, and chia seeds to a large glass bowl with a lid. Gently stir together then seal with the lid and place in the refrigerator overnight.
The next day, place half of the overnight oats in the bottom of containers (I use these jars).
Distribute the jam evenly among the 5 jars, reserving a little for garnish if you’d like. Next, melt the peanut butter in the microwave (about 30 seconds with a good stir should be enough), then distribute it evenly among your containers on top of the jam. Again, reserve a little for garnish if you wish.
Now, divide the other half of the oats among the containers on top of the peanut butter layer. Garnish if desired, then seal and store in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
