Like most people, my mornings can be hectic and leave me short on time to prepare a healthy meal. That’s why breakfast is one of the most important meals for me to prep.
I love to make up a batch of these protein breakfast boxes on Sunday to last me through the week.
When putting this breakfast box together, I tried to keep it simple while also including ingredients that would burst with flavor.
Meal Prep Protein Box Ingredients:
- Cottage Cheese
- Berries
- Beef Jerky
- Hard Boiled Egg
- Nut Mix (macadamia nuts, almonds, cashews, pistachios)
I usually chop up my berries and throw them on top of the cottage cheese. Kind of like a healthy berries and cream situation.
I added these Duke’s Sausage Sticks that I’ve really been enjoying lately. I highly recommend the Peach BBQ if you want something sweet, or the Green Chile version if you want a little spice.
The hard boiled egg provides protein and along with the nut mix really helps me stay full until lunch. If you need more protein, you can easily add an extra egg.
